Started in 1972, Ciudad Quesada was one of the first residential urbanisations in Spain, it became one of the largest and is still one of the most popular for expatriate clients seeking a holiday home, but where it differs is in the number of people from foreign lands who have made their permanent home in Quesada. This permanent population means that Quesada is one of the few urbanisations that remain open all year round, with a huge selection of services and facilities including over 100 restaurants, bars and cafes, a good selection of banks, supermarkets and other facilities and great civic facilities such as a cultural centre, town hall, bus services and lots more. The location is ideal, just 10 minutes from Guardamar with some of the best beaches in Spain and the international airport is just 30 minutes away by car. When you add all this to the fact that there is an 18 hole golf course on site and even an aqua park, it is clear that Quesada's appeal is universal, for all ages and countries of origin.

Ciudad Quesada is located near the wonderful cities such as Alicante, Murcia, Cartagena and more. It is only 30 minutes to Alicante (ALC) and Murcia (RMU) airports which have several direct routs.

There is a highway just outside the city that makes it easy to get around and explore Spain. Torrevieja is just a 10-minute drive to restaurants, nightlife, bars and Habaneras and a large shopping mall with several trendy shops. You have several shops around in the area, for example, La Zenia Boulevard has an even greater choice of shops just 20 minutes from Quesada.

In Quesada, you also have restaurants, shops, hiking areas, parks, waterpark, golf course, mini-golf, bowling, Norwegian school and much more. You don't have to go far to experience all this wonderful city has to offer.

Ciudad Quesada is a quiet and pleasant area of the Costa Blanca with lots to discover. It is only 7-10 minutes drive to some of the best beaches in Europe. They have been awarded a blue flag which means that it is some of the cleanest, safe, quality beaches in Spain. Guardamar del Segura is one of the most popular beaches in the area and is 9 kilometers long. There is also a bike path down to the beach.

There are several markets in the area as it is 5 minutes by car. Here you can buy fresh groceries, souvenirs and much more. There is a marked for every day of the week less than 15 minutes from Quesada.
