The price of the house increases by 4% in the third quarter of 2016

Housing prices are rising again in the third quarter of the year. According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE) in Spain, households have increased by 4%, a figure very similar to that recorded in the previous quarter (3.9%). Therefore, there are already ten consecutive quarters of price increases since in 2014 the Spanish real estate market left behind six years of declines.
Specifically in the Valencian Community, the price of housing rose 1.9% in the third quarter compared to the third quarter of 2015, below the national average (4%). Thus, so far this year prices have increased in the region by 1.8%.
By type of housing, the price of new buildings rose by 7.3% compared to the third quarter of 2015, a rate more than one point lower than the previous quarter (+ 8.4%), while the price of The used housing accelerated three tenths its annual growth, from the 3.2% of the second quarter to 3.5% of the third.
