Experts forecast a 5% increase in prices of resale housing and an improvement in demand

Real estate experts predict that the sector will continue a "slow and sustained" recovery over the next few months supported by improved economy and reduced unemployment.

The Professional Association of Real Estate Experts (Apei) predicts that the brick sector will record a slow and sustained recovery in 2017, with "stable" prices for the second hand increasing by an average of 5% and a lack Of rental offer that will favor the sale of housing.

However, prices for resale housing in general will be stable. Apei's forecast for housing used is for a "slight increase" in prices, with increases that will remain around 5%.

As for the closure of operations, estimates that if in the course of 2016 were sold around 440.00 homes in Spain, in the coming months expects "the same volume of sales, and even more than that recorded in the last year."

Finally, Apei believes that the new housing developments will quietly animate the brick scenario during the 2017 financial year.
